Not Me! Monday

Some people are of the impression that confession is good for the soul. Confession is good for the soul only in the sense that a tweed coat is good for dandruff--it's a palliative rather than a remedy. That being said, I prefer to deny, deny, deny. Apparently, so does MckMama. Hey, it's easier than coming to terms with some of the random happenings of life such as the following hypothetical situations...

I would never leave a meeting to "pee", run down a flight of stairs, speed walk down a hallway to my desk just to check if the Not Me! post was up, give a little woo hoo, and manage to get 10th on the list. Who does that? Some obsessive compulsive chick, not me, that's for sure.

I am also way to politically correct to stick shove my foot in my mouth by saying something looked "gay" to my homosexual co-worker. Who uses that word?? Bratty, ignorant teenagers, not a 30 year old mother and scientist!

I am not absent minded at all, ever. Who was that woman that walked out of her lab, with her lab coat and safety glasses on, and walked straight to the gym without taking them off and got half way through the door before she noticed she had them on?? That was some new girl, that hasn't worked here for over 3 years!

I am a seasoned mother. My child is coming up on 2 years old. He is not potty trained yet. I know what happens when an undiapered boy runs free in the house before bath time. He pees in your closet, that's what happens. Thank God I am not that stupid! I laughed at that mom!

What did you "not" do this week?

  2. I too have made the mistake of letting an un potty trained boy go diaperless. He peed on the coffee table. Were you actually up posting this @ 5:27? Holy cow shoot me dead if I am ever up that early blogging!

  3. Can your intros get any more clever? I'm thinking from now on I'm just going to say "It's Monday. For a witty intro, please visit Kameron. Now for my Not Me! Mondya list." And I completely understand the "obsession" with wanting to make it top on the list for Mr. Linky. I do NOT have my hubby check for me while I'm at gymnastics Monday mornings with T.

  4. Great Not Me's! I, too, have made the "gay" comment error in front of a homosexual co-worker...back when I still worked outside of the home, that is. I learned from that experience to only use it when describing something to my husband...

  5. Ha ha - love the peeing in the closet. Who is that mom? :-) I also am not a tad obsessive about getting on MckMama's list. I did not get my husband to help. And I finally DID get to #12. Yay us!

  6. HaHa! I love the no diaper comment! I have found other things that KC leaves behind with no diaper on. When are you going to start potty training?
    Great NMM!

  7. Potty training sucks. This weekend, after I got everyone ready and cute for church Corban disappeared. He came down the stairs and said "I pooped." And to prove his point, a huge giant turd fell OUT of his pant leg.

    Disgusting.

  11. Ahhh, I miss the toddler days!

And I would never admit that I stalked MckMama's blog in order to be high up on the list and I was not all proud when I was 4th! I did not realize that my heart was RACING afterwards too. What a dork I am!
