JUST DO IT!

I am not a political activist. I will not try to tell you who to vote for. I believe that caring for our country means caring enough to get out there and voice your opinion. I was in line at 7am this morning and, I am happy to say, so were many others. It was 35 degrees out but people were still in line wanting their voice to be heard. So, that's it people.

"To make democracy work, we must be a nation of participants, not simply observers. One who does not vote has no right to complain." ~Louis L'Amour

  2. I will be there soon waiting in line. I consider it a priviledge and cannot wait to cast my vote. Love that quote!

  5. I voted! Thank goodness I found an out of the way place & it took less than 5 minutes. Otherwise my little guy would have thrown a fit and unnerved all the old people voting.

  6. Thank you for taking time to visit my blog and to send up prayers for my husband! I am truly grateful for that.
Also, thank you for sharing your personal story about your mom and all she went through. I am very sorry to hear all the health issues she went through. Very similar to Rich. You are very right, it's so hard to watch someone we love be sick. Sometimes I think it's harder to be on that side because of all the worrying and helpless feelings we have!
But thank you again....thank you for your prayers.
    God Bless,
    Hilary

  7. I didn't get to vote. With all the moving I never got my absentee ballot stuff squared away. I am pretty happy I didn't have to vote. The decision was too hard this time around. I was afraid both ways. Now that Obama is it- I just pray the US does not make the same mistakes other countries have with universal health care!

  8. Kameron, thanks for your comment on my blog about a week ago. Check out my latest quote from a reputable Christian radio station.
