Not Me! Monday

It's Monday ad time for my rantings and ravings of the things I absolutely did not do in the last week. If you'd like to share in the laughs and free therapy visit MckMama's blog and play along!

I did not take a vitamin and 2 Tylenol on a mostly empty stomach and have to pull over to the side of the road to throw up.
If this terrible thing did happen to me it would have been on a quiet street and not in front of a large middle school with parents dropping their kids off staring at me.

I would also have been alone and not have my 17 month old son in his car seat clapping and shouting "barkin" at the lovely retching sounds he heard coming from his mommy.

I didn't proceed to take my son to daycare with every intention of still going to work and then pass the south entrance to the highway, go back home and sleep for almost 4 more hours. Nope! Not me!!

Being the addicted blogger I am, I didn't take a 4 day break from writing and reading people's blogs because I didn't feel I had anything to say in a post or a comment. I never run out of things to say, EVER!!

I did not think it was the cutest thing ever when my hubby and the boy inadvertantly had on matching outfits for our trip to the grocery store. I didn't proceed to give my hubby a lecture about how It wouldn't kill him to do it for a family picture!
I am not dreading getting on a 6 hour flight on Thursday with my son and hubby because I'm afraid they with BOTH act like babies on the plane and I'm not sure if I can handle that. I am also not contemplating drugging the big baby with Benedryl so he is relaxed and (hopefully) sleepy so I can deal with the little one in peace. I would never think about doing something like that!

What did you "not" do this week??

  1. I hate vitamins for that very reason - I cannot take them without feeling sick...ever!!!

I think you should drug the hubby and the baby (slip a little benadryl in his drink as well) and bring a good book on the flight.

    Good luck flying!!!

  5. Sometimes you just need a blogging break. Nothing wrong with that. Hell, I spend too many hours a day posting and reading when I should be cleaning and organizing. Damn Addicting Bloggers! :o) The pic is adorable!

  7. My boys have the same sweater! I love it on them, and your little guy! Umm, I am not disbleeding, just disunabletospelled. I am thinking of benedryling (pretty sure that is a word) my boy when we go to florida next month. let me know if it works!

  8. Careful, Benedryl had the OPPOSITE effect on my little girl when we flew!
And I know that didn't cause me to cancel our 4 hour drive to see my Dad this Thanksgiving! She in no way dictates what we do!
Oh, and too funny about "Barkin!"

  9. I was wondering where you went! I thought 4 days without a post, she must be sick! I too would recomend drugging both of "the boys" and trying to relax. Going home for Thanksgiving?

  10. Oh no, Im sorry I am laughing so hard at you throwing up right by the school. That would be so something I would do, and then I would proceed to worry for a month that all the other moms saw me and thought I was hung over. LOL!

  13. They gave me one of those 30% coupons at the counter anyway. Yay!! I love the boys' matching sweaters... those would be cute for an outdoor photo shoot!

Can't wait to see you too! Hope your BABIES manage the flight. I wonder how Natey will do on a plane now that he's RUNNING?? : ) Good luck with that!

Sorry about the "barkin'." heehee Glad you took a break from blogging, though. I really need one... or SHOULD take one, anyway. Chad was reading my post last night (despite how LONG it was) and he actually rolled his eyes when he saw my Not Me! Monday part. He said, "I just don't get them. Did you do it? Did you not? Whatever." Geez.

See you soon! Oh, I told Kat about going to see "twilight" and I think she was more interested in the Bond movie. : )

  16. Oh my! I could not stop laughing at the "barkin" comment from Natey. That is just way to funny, sorry it was at your expense. I'm sure you wanted to laugh too.

And sending lots of good wishes for your flight. The last time I fly with both child and hubby, and was so stressed out not knowing which one was going to cause me the most grief. It ended up being the big kid too, not the little one.

  19. You had me cracking up. So sorry about the throwing up. The "barkin" thing was just too funny - only kids, right?

I love that picture... is your kid not the cutest little boy on the planet? I mean, other than mine. I mean, the cutest with curls???

Yes... mine is 2-1/2 and doesn't usually eat off the floor. That's why it was blogworthy.

    Hope you're feeling better!

  24. Your son is too cute! And I loved the "barkin' comment. I'm sure that experience wasn't too fun however. I have had to throw up many a time in the car so I sympathize. Thanks for stopping my my blog. I laughed at your comment with the whole "stabbing thing". I can see how you would have read that at first. If it had been my forehead it would be NMM for another day! LOL I lived in RI for a few months while my husband worked there. He is also in Biotech. We live in MA. So, hello from a fellow New Englander!

  26. That is the motivation behind why we say that the distinctive directions may adjust your choice. Since you may have felt that you would rather abstain from acquiring land and that you would adhere to a general manufactured house advance rather yet it is conceivable that in the event that you got the land as well, in a few states it might wind up being less expensive.
