I ♥ {birthday} faces

I love birthdays! Since Natey has only had one so far, it wasn't hard to find a picture either. I liked this one and made a couple of edits. I like the way it turned out, but I know some of you pros are probably shuttering (pun intended) at my noviceness with editing software!! Oh well. Hopefully his cuteness will distract you! I ♥ {My} Faces

I am not the best photographer. I don't have an awesome camera like many of my bloggy friends, although it is the only thing on my Christmas list. I rarely like pictures taken of me, but for some reason I do like this picture. It was taken about 3 years ago at one of my favorite places, Oregon. I was sitting in my dad's Winny looking out the window and just thought, "Hey, I'm having a good hair day, plus I need a new Myspace picture". I started snapping away and got one good shot. I have since ditched Myspace for blogging, but I still like this picture. Oh, I can't wait for my hair to grow back!

I Heart {No flash} Faces!

The theme for this week at I heart faces is no flash. This concept has been hard for me to grasp since I live in crappy light for half of the year, but the pictures do come out so much better in natural light! My entry for this week is one I took of Natey on a beautiful fall day in his grandparent's back yard. He was mesmerized by the birds in the tree. This was pretty much the only time he sat still all day! Check out I heart faces for other awesome pictures!!

I have been seeing a lot of my bloggy friends post their favorite photos to I heart faces, and I decided that I would play this week. The picture I chose is Natey when he was 13 months old. I just love his expression and long lashes.
