Remorse

I'm sorry.
No, I mean it. I am truly sorry.
The sad kind of sorry. The remorseful, I cried a few tears kind.
I had good intentions. I really did. Once I started I just got in too deep.I realize now that I shouldn't have done it.
I even apologized to you and Daddy for my actions.

I will make you a promise.

Mommy will never

EVER

come near your curls again.

I'm a hack and cannot be trusted with scissors.
Your beautiful curls are but a memory of what they were last night.

They will grow back.
Soon.
I hope.
Love, Mommy

  3. Oh man...that has to be a pregnant thing. Last year when I was pregnant with Seth I went crazy and buzzed all of Jace's curls off. We both cried. =)

  4. Awwwww...you cut it!! It still looks REALLY, REALLY cute, but I have to admit, I'm a sucker for longer hair! Drew had his first haircut in January and hasn't been back since if that tells you anything!

  10. Oh, those curls! He looks great, even after the cut!
My youngest has beautiful curls, and I am so afraid of even trimming her hair. She'll be 10 before her first cut...

  12. His hair seems like it will remain curly like Models...so I don't think a small hair cut will hurt them. They still look great! He is so cute. Love that smile.

  16. Wow! Someone had a moment of insanity! He is still a cutie!!! Pregnant women should not be allowed near hair and scissors. That is why I have crazy bangs right now. The curls will come back I'm sure! : )

  18. Ahhh, I still love it! And yes, it will grow back. Amazing that he went this long without a hair cut! I wish Aidan had SOME curl, but no such luck with Chad and me as his parents!

I'm thinking about your blog... we'll need to change up the pictures soon to add baby girl!
